  • A bathing tax of 150 yen per person is collected separately.
  • Guest room refrigerators are left empty for your free use.
  • The hotel has a natural onsen (natural hot spring) communal bath.
  • Children's rate (ages 4 through elementary school) is 70% of the adult rate. (Not counted toward the adult occupancy.)
  • Crib: 1,000 yen
  • When using the bathroom (while filling the tub or afterward, while steam remains), please be sure to close the door. Steam can trigger the smoke alarm.
  • In Japanese-Western style rooms, futon setup is self-service.
  • Co-sleeping children are not provided with yukata or other amenities.

A request to bring your own amenities to reduce plastic waste

At Hotel Sekia, we have long pursued initiatives aligned with the SDGs—food-loss reduction, waste sorting, and more. With Japan's Act on the Promotion of Resource Circulation for Plastics taking effect in April 2022, hotels are being asked to step up efforts to curb plastic output and accelerate recycling.

Although our hotel's plastic output does not fall under the mandatory scope of this newly enacted law, single-use plastic waste is a global environmental issue. To help reduce it and to promote recycling, we keep guest-room amenities to the minimum necessary and ask that you consider bringing the amenities you use at home. Together with our guests, we aim to reduce single-use plastics and, through our hotel operations, contribute to a more sustainable society. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
